I am Emánuel Dávid Tukacs, an independent insurance broker. I carry out this work as a partner of Eurorisk Biztosítási Alkusz Kft., and I am listed in the register of the Hungarian National Bank under number 114063010758 — anyone can verify this in the MNB’s institution search. As a broker, I do not work on behalf of a single insurer but on the client’s instructions: I compare offers from several insurers, and the decision is always yours.
How do I work?
In one sentence: I assess your needs and inform you of the options — the decision is yours. This matters especially for funeral expense insurance: the task here is not to “sell”, but to settle a question that most families would rather discuss calmly, at their own pace. The conversation follows that pace: there is no deadline, no pressure — and if this product is not right for you, I say so honestly.
I do not charge the client for advice: the broker’s compensation is paid by the insurer. This is how the market works, and it does not mean I favour any particular insurer — the comparison table shows both the strengths and the weaknesses.
What I do — and what I don’t
I take on assessing your needs, comparing offers from several insurers, guiding you through the paperwork, and the review, on request; when you flag a change — beneficiary, contact details — I prepare it and have it processed with the insurer, though the beneficiary designation itself must be signed by you, and it is up to you to let me know about the change. If a claim stalls or becomes disputed, I help with the insurer where I can.
I do not take on what is not my role: I do not give legal, probate or tax advice — for these, the applicable rules and, where needed, a legal professional are the right guide. The primary route for filing a claim is the insurer’s own hotline and platform: this is the fastest way, and I explain this to families in advance as well. I do not recommend or rate funeral service providers.
